It’s compact, secure and has three bedrooms, and striking views from the entertaining area that overlooks a sparkling blue plunge pool and covered terrace. The open-plan living area is spacious and set on two levels. The dining area is tiled and on the upper level, and the contemporary styled lounge is on the lower level, all with views out through the glass doors to the terrace. A well-equipped kitchen with a separate scullery area looks out over a wide bar counter with six bar stools, and onto the terrace outside with its six-seater wooden table, sun loungers and gas barbeque. The terrace gets late afternoon sunshine and is the perfect gathering place after walks on the beach or sundowners on the rocks at Bakoven. All three bedrooms are decorated in gentle, neutral colours with high quality fittings and soft carpeting underfoot. The main suite is air conditioned for added comfort in summer but adjustable wooden blinds have also been fitted throughout to keep the interior cool during the day. They all have generous cupboard storage space and are en suite, with spacious, well-fitted bathrooms with baths and showers. The large, light-filled master bedroom is at the front of the apartment and is entered from the lounge area. Satellite is provided here and in the lounge. This bedroom opens directly onto the patio and plunge pool with views towards the ocean beyond. Parking is in a double garage with additional off-street parking outside. Victoria Road is the main route around the coast, so access to all beaches is easy and the city centre and V&A Waterfront is 15 minutes away. The lively palm-lined promenade of Camps Bay with its long beach, shops and restaurants is no more than one minute away by car. Bakoven has two very private swimming beaches which are popular with families and children as the water is often fairly calm on windfree days. Diving can be done at Oudekraal beach, a few minutes’ up the coast, near the Twelve Apostles Hotel which is well known for its award-winning spa. This property is ideal for families who will spend most of their days on the beach or exploring the peninsular as it doesn’t have a garden for small children, but its convenience is unrivalled during the holiday season with the beach only a five-minute stroll away. Teens and couples will love its glamorous terrace and plunge pool.
