Sea Urchin, a cute Clifton beach apartment is a unique mixture of lock up and go apartment and cottage on the beach. It is located on the beach side of the main road in Clifton (Victoria Road) and gives one the impression of being suspended over the ocean.

Layout

This Clifton beach apartment is on 2 levels with the dining and lounge areas which open up onto the balcony downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It has 2 bedrooms and can sleep 4 people. One of the bedrooms is placed on a platform above the lounge and dining area in order to take advantage of the very special sea views. For this reason this Clifton Beach apartment  is more suited for couples or small families.

The lounge and dining areas open onto a spacious balcony where you can relax on the outdoor furniture and watch the waves, or braai (BBQ) your own dinner at night on the small Weber outdoor cooker.

Parking and Beach

There is secure parking in the apartment block and there is direct beach access from some steps leading down from the apartment.

With an unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere combined with some of the best views in Clifton and direct access to Clifton First Beach, Sea Urchin beach apartment has more of a carefree beach house feel than a lock up and go apartment.

Some reasons why Clifton is the perfect place for a Cape Town beach vacation

• there's no problem with parking when you go to the beach - you're already ther

• its a quick drive to Cape Town  (about 20 minutes in light traffic) - more nightclubs, museums, galleries etcits a quick drive to the nightclubs in Green Point (about 15 minutes in light traffic)

• its a quick drive to the V&A Waterfront (about 15 minutes in light traffic) where you can shop, eat & drink until you drop

• its a 5 minute drive to the Table Mountain Cable Way Station (OK maybe not between 25th December - 10 Jan when the beaches are sizzling and the traffic is gridlocked)

• it's a 15 minute walk to the Camps Bay strip, a 3 minute drive (also depends on the traffic, but its close in distance. Walk if the traffic is too heavy)

• in Camps Bay you can be entertained at restaurants, bars, cafés

• in Camps Bay you can shop for food at Pick'n Pay (local supermarket) or delis to prepare at your luxury self-cater villa or apartment

• in Camps Bay you can cater for all your beauty requirements be it a facial, wax, manicure etc
