Designed by well-known Cape Town architect, Stefan Antoni, The Crescent is accessed via a quiet cul de sac and is modern in style. Curvaceous walls and oodles of space make it the ideal holiday villa for families with friends. The well-equipped circular kitchen with its large curved bar counter flows seamlessly into the dining and living area that has sliding glass doors, opening up directly to the shaded patio outside - perfect for relaxed alfresco meals together over breakfast or lunch in the heat of the day. The well-designed kitchen is well lit, has all the mod cons and doubles as a great place to chat while preparing meals. At night, when the pool with its water feature is lit up, the patio transforms instantly into an effortless entertaining area for casual braais or candlelit dinners, unless you’re tempted by the vibrant night life and choice of restaurants both in cosmopolitan Camps Bay and central Cape Town, which just 15 minutes’ drive away. The living area has a built-in fireplace and is a comfortable zone with deep sofas, satellite television and a computer station near the front entrance area. On the other side is an eight-seater dining table for indoor dinners. All four, spacious bedrooms are light, airy and decorated in neutral tones with ample storage cupboards. The bathrooms are larger than most and two are en-suite with generous oval baths and vanities. The two front bedrooms have glass sliding doors leading straight onto the garden and have full views of the sparkling pool. This apartment complex is secure, and the double garage has direct access up a curved stairway into the apartment. Off-street parking is also available for two additional cars. Daily housekeeping is provided during the week and a separate laundry and scullery is situated off the kitchen for convenience. Camps Bay is a popular destination, especially for young couples and families with teens because there’s so much to do within walking distance of the apartment. Camps Bay’s palm-lined beach is the closest but Glen Beach is just a short walk towards Lion’s Head. The more adventurous might enjoy a trip in the cable car up Table Mountain or a walk up Lion’s Head to take a tandem paraglide off its gently sloping mountainside. Clifton is five-minutes drive and shopping at the V&A Waterfront is a mere 20 minutes away.
